Vallée de la Marne

Elaborated from the three traditional grape varieties of champagne: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but mainly the Pinot Meunier. This champagne is a blend of all our harvested wines, coming from our different hillsides. The addition of reserve wines provides its balance and quality.

APPEARANCE
A beautiful light yellow intensity with lemony reflections.
Its pale green shades is giving it a feeling of freshness.

AROMAS
A first impression of red fruits. Next the wine opens with notes of fleshy fruits such as white peach, finishing with a peppery nuance. Its nose is fresh and attractive.

PALATE
In first nose the wine gives a crisp and juicy impression. Then it continues with a pleasant slight bitterness, with fruity remaining the dominant. The finish is on the granny apple and grapefruit prolonging its freshness.

Champagne which defends a certain classicism, mixing fresh and fruity flavours, easy to drink, ideal for aperitif, cocktail or receptions.
It will whet your appetite. At the table, it can accompany light dishes.

BLACK CAP

Grande Réserve

Produced mainly from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, selected from our best hillsides. This blend is made from a selection of our best wines, the coeurs de cuvées, which are blended with reserve wines giving the champagne more maturity.

APPEARANCE
Wine with a clear yellow hue, with rose and clear gold reflections.
The bubble cord is generous and goes hand in hand with the natural brilliance of this wine.

AROMAS
Open, full of aromas with scents of white flowers, such as the acacia, brought by the Chardonnay.
The Pinot Noir attributes aromas of very ripe fruits like yellow peach and apricot with notes of prune.
The ageing adds nuances that recall shortcrust pastry and cookie dough.

PALATE
The attack is lively which is followed by a round, buttered evolution, with dominant aromas of ripe yellow fruits. A champagne with a good growing finish. We begin to perceive light nuances of candied fruits like quince, which will increase with time. There is also a touch of milk caramel.

It is a beautiful aperitif cuvée that can also be served at the entrance of a dinner with dishes like fish with spices or a poultry with citrus fruits. You will also appreciate this Brut champagne during your receptions or evenings.

GOLD CAP

Millésimé 2008

It is the wine of a single year chosen according to the climatic conditions that give the ultimate quality to the grapes. The blend mainly consists of the Chardonnay. This champagne, which aged for a minimum of five years, has reached its perfect maturity. It demonstrates to what nature can produce at its best moments.

APPEARANCE
Yellow gold with amber and coppery reflections. This sustained hue immediately gives an idea of its maturity and concentration. The mousse is white and generous, the bubbles spread in a delicate and fine bouquet.

AROMAS
The aromas are dominated by a first nose of toasted notes such as bread crust or grilled toast, then towards peppery nuances. There are scents of hazelnut and tapered almonds as well as aromas of candied lemon and orange paste.

PALATE
A very ample and round impression with a acidulous tip that recalls candied citrus.
A sensation of richness and concentration, followed by a sweet dry fruit flavour on the finish.

A successful and ripe wine, at its peak. Intimate champagne, to be enjoyed in small committee: (small group of friends) to be served not too cold ensuring all of its aromatic potential to be expressed.
It is a wine of pleasure to be discovered for oneself. It can be kept for years. A wine that makes you love Champagne.

SILVER CAP

Rosé

It is a traditional blend with a contribution of 15 to 20% of red wine. The latter is mainly produced from our Pinot Noir, of which the clusters have been sorted and selected at the harvest according to their maturity and sanitary state.

APPEARANCE
The whiteness of the mousse combined with the delicacy of its colour: rose petal and pomelo pulp with light coppery nuances, make this rosé an appealing wine by its appearance. A lot of finesse in the bubbles, with a string of tiny bubbles starting from the bottom of the glass and flourishing on the surface.

AROMAS
A first dominant nose of fresh red fruits: raspberry, blackberry, wild strawberry, with notes of blueberry and cherry. Then a spicy touch of pepper and cinnamon and a flowery tip of violet.

PALATE
A fresh and frank attack, a burst of aromas of red fruits, a good acidulous/sweet balance that supports the freshness. The ripe notes, perceived previously emerge gradually and prevail on the finish.

Its colour, its perfume, its character, give it all its originality.
A delicate, tender, loveable wine with femininity. It will accompany very well desserts
and gourmandises, but it is also a wine for the fine days to taste in the backyard.
